Annie Clark

Annie Clark, the phenomenal guitar/multi-instrumentalist who named her debut record after an Arrested Development catchphrase, is better known as St. Vincent.

She is also known as the woman I’ll be seeing perform on Wednesday while surrounded by countless other lonely, pining slobs.

To be fair to us, Lykke Li’s first LP, Youth Novels, makes for a devastating pairing for the young lady’s charisma and her totally adorable as-if-no-one-else-is-looking style of dance. The record is a beautifully sparse, entirely infectious, and utterly endearing affair. And in it, she says that she would do anything to have me as her man.
