She’s Swedish, she’s adorable, she covers “Can I Kick It?” live, and she’s on the verge blowing the hell up. This is practically all I know of Lykke Li, the latest indie swoon-bait melting the hearts of lonely music bloggers everywhere.

Oh, and I know this: you can add me to the pathetic list of the hopelessly devoted.

To be fair to us, Lykke Li’s first LP, Youth Novels, makes for a devastating pairing for the young lady’s charisma and her totally adorable as-if-no-one-else-is-looking style of dance. The record is a beautifully sparse, entirely infectious, and utterly endearing affair. And in it, she says that she would do anything to have me as her man.

Sold.
